Description

This course introduces participants to the essentials of design and desktop publishing, offering two specialized tracks: a Classic track focused on traditional desktop publishing techniques, and a UX track dedicated to digital design with Figma. The Classic track covers creating and formatting documents for print and digital output, including PDF exports and color management. Students will also learn to produce interactive digital materials. The UX track emphasizes using Figma for designing user interfaces and creating interactive prototypes, catering to those interested in UI/UX design. Both tracks provide a solid foundation in design principles, tailored to equip students with the necessary skills for their specific career paths in graphic design, desktop publishing, or UX/UI design.

Compétences visées

The Classic track focuses on desktop publishing, teaching document layout, PDF exportation, color management, and the creation of interactive digital content. The UX track concentrates on using Figma for user interface design and interactive prototyping, grounded in user-centered design principles. Both tracks emphasize foundational design principles.
